16 Weeks Update

For the last two weeks, I have felt the baby move a few times. Or at least what I think is the baby...it could be my imagination. Everything seems to be progressing as it should (including my & Nick's expanding waistline!) Nick, I'm only kidding, so don't get upset:) On Friday, I go to the doctor for my checkup & to schedule my ultrasound in another 3 weeks, so I'll let everyone know as soon as we find out what we're having! Sorry so short, but there's not a whole lot to report!

My First Mother's Day

For those of you who do not already know, we heard Baby Teifke's heartbeat last Friday! We have to admit it was the coolest thing ever! It was beating at 140/minute, which is right in the middle of where it should be:)

Another 6 weeks until we get an ultrasound done, to find out what the sex of our baby is. First of all, my sister thinks I'm having a boy because my waist is getting wide. (My whole body is getting wide!) My brother in law Tim...who hasn't been wrong in guessing the sex of people's babies, said we're going to have a boy. We also did the old trick with the wedding band tied to a string & it indicated a girl.....so we're hoping you will all let us know what you think we're expecting. (The poll is at the right.)

This is my first official pregnancy photo, so don't laugh:) I am definately on the borderline of having to wear maternity clothes! We will post these monthly, so that you can compare how big I'm getting. Apparently, today was my first Mother's Day as well. Very strange, but I'll take it!

I had to install Haloscan comments since some can't seem to play nicely in the comment box... The good thing about Haloscan is, when someone leaves a comment you don't like, you can just ban their IP address and they can never comment again. Facism at it's best.

We've also added a count down graphic thingy. Hmmm... 26 weeks and 6 days to go. Seems so far away, but if it goes like this year has gone so far, that date will be here before we know it.

Oh, and if anyone knows of a good nursery furniture store, online or elsewhere, drop us a line. We're looking for a white crib/changing table combo. Well, ideally it would be a combo. I've tried looking online, but despite all the internet is good for, reasonably priced nursery furniture is apparently not it's specialty.

Actually, this website has exactly what we want... only not in white, and their under qualified web designers still haven't figured out how to actually put their prices on the website. It's tough, I know... you have to use the number pad... and the dollar sign...
