38 Weeks

Our doc appt. this week went very well. He said the baby's head has dropped nicely, my cervix is 50% effaced, and that I was to make an appt. for next Thursday, but he wouldn't be at all suprised if I had him before then! Needless to say we are super excited & nervous!

Of course we're not banking on it, but we're just keeping an eye on things. I've definately been feeling different lately, but my nesting hasn't kicked in, I've been more tired than anything. Other than that, not much new to report, we're just praying for a beautiful, healthy little guy:) We'll keep you all updated.

37 Weeks

Our doctor appointment went very well today. He informed us that Braeden has "dropped" which we kinda figured out on our own anyways...and that's about it. I haven't started dialating yet, so we'll be doing a lot of walking in the next few weeks to help things progress.

We're guessing he's around 6 lbs right now & he's still a pretty active little guy. Nick has had to help me put my shoes on and sometimes even has to roll me out of bed:) I feel HUGE. Next week is my last full week at work, so I'll have some time to finish up things around the house & catch up some sleep. It is so unreal to think he could be born anytime! We are so excited!!!!!!

36 Weeks

I have forgotten what I used to look like, and that my stomach was once flat...I don't think it's possible for my belly to grow any larger but I still have 4 weeks to go. I went to the doc last week, but just as I had suspected nothing was happening yet. My doc is out of town this week, so I won't see him until next week Thursday.

I'll definatley keep you all updated now that we are so close to Braeden's arrival. My family has a history of going early...so I'm praying that continues, we are so ready to meet our little guy! He is head down, but it's hard to tell if he's "dropped" since I've been carrying so low to begin with, not to mention I'm using the ladies room every 20 minutes.

He's been squirming around quite a bit, & the doc says we're both healthy and weighing in at what we should. There isn't much else to report, now we just sit around & wait!
